About The Position
Summers Healthcare Center, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for a PRN Activities Assistant. This role offers daily pay, allowing you to get paid tomorrow for work today. We are looking for fun, energetic, passionate, and creative individuals to join our team. The successful candidate will work directly with residents, requiring gentleness, responsibility, and a strong work ethic. Comfort with individuals experiencing confusion and finding fulfillment in small achievements is essential. The purpose of this position is to provide individualized activity care and services for residents, functioning as a team member within the activities department and an interdisciplinary team member for assigned units.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior work/life experiences, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Prior experience preferably with related software applications.
- Must be able to plan, organize, and conduct a variety of activities
- Basic computer literacy and skills.
- Must possess an active state driver’s license.
