Activities Assistant - The Ridge Foothill
About The Position
We are Hiring both a Fulltime and a Part-Time Activities Assistant - Come have fun and get paid! Do you enjoy caring for people and making a difference in people's lives? If so, come join our team! We are currently interviewing for a fulltime and a part-time position. Must be available to work weekends. Only outgoing, energetic, talkative, engaging, and warm candidates with professional appearance will be considered. Must be compassionate and love seniors. The fulltime position will work Sundays from 9am to 4:30pm, Wednesdays from 1pm to 7pm, Thursdays and Fridays from 9am to 5pm. The part-time position will work on Sundays and Mondays from 1pm to 7pm. Requirements
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 3+ months experience with group and/or event planning
- Must possess basic computer proficiency in MS Office
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
Nice To Haves
- Activity professional coursework preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assists with the delivery of the life enrichment plan to include programming and implementation of community events
- Assists in the preparation and purchase of supplies and equipment as needed.
- Promotes exercise and wellness programs offered within the Community
- Observes and communicates information to others directly involved in care regarding resident needs, desires, and responses to programs and community life events.
- Maintains records of resident participation in events.
- Plans resident group excursions and drives the bus for community life trips.
- Performs various administrative tasks as assigned.
- Requires schedule flexibility, including ability to work occasional evenings, weekends and holidays
- Other duties as assigned.
