About The Position
As an Activities Assistant at Saint Mary Home, you’ll play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents. Through thoughtfully designed recreational, social, emotional, and spiritual programs, you’ll help create moments of joy, connection, and purpose—supporting each resident’s unique care plan while encouraging social engagement, physical activity, and lifelong learning.
Requirements
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills
- A positive, adaptable mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience in long-term care or working with individuals with dementia

- Assist residents with daily activities and transportation, ensuring participation is safe, enjoyable, and tailored to individual needs.

- Maintain clean, organized activity spaces and follow all safety protocols.
- Participate in ongoing training and collaborate with team members to continuously improve resident experiences.
