About The Position

The Clinical Activities Aide provides quality care and enriches the lives of our residents by assisting with, planning, and implementing activities that meet their physical, emotional, and social needs throughout the campus. The primary focus will be with the Special Care / Dementia Neighborhood.

Requirements

• STNA Required; or willing to obtain
• Must have a valid Ohio Driver’s License and carry valid insurance
• Must be able to pass a Background Check and Drug Test
• Must have the ability and desire to deal with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and the general public.
• Must have the ability to handle difficult situations
• Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift residents and/or equipment
• Must have leadership skills and excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• High level of creativity is a plus
• Computer skills are preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assisting, planning, and implementing activities that meet residents' physical, emotional, and social needs.
• Focusing primarily on residents in the Special Care / Dementia Neighborhood.
• Ensuring a safe environment and a culture of caring for residents at the highest level.
• Practicing HIPAA, Resident Rights, and Abuse procedures at all times.
