About The Position
For over 60 years, St. Anne Home, a ministry of the Felician Sisters of North America, has been committed to offering superior health care services to the senior members of our community. We are seeking to fill the position of Activities Aide. This is a full-time position with a variable schedule based on St. Anne Home needs, plus every other weekend. The starting pay is $15 per hour.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to speak, write and understand English.
Nice To Haves
- Desire to engage with the Senior community; experience preferred but not required.
- Computer literate with training on entering resident care plan codes (MDS), preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, organizing and implementing activities - movies, parties, games, crafts.
- Assist the Activity Director with preliminary and comprehensive assessments of the activity needs of each resident.
- Review activities needs assessments.
- Develop and maintain a good rapport with all the services involved with the care plan.
- Encourage resident participation and social communication during group activities and recreation.
- Assist in the transportation of residents to activities.
