About The Position
Springpoint at Manalapan is seeking a highly energetic Activities Aide to join our team! Springpoint at Manalapan is a Senior Living Assisted Living and Memory Care Community located in Manalapan, NJ. We are currently seeking a PT Activities Aide to join our team. At Springpoint, our Activities Aide is responsible for providing therapeutic activity programs to the residents.
Requirements
- Highschool diploma or equivalent required
Nice To Haves
- Certification from the National Council for Activity Professionals or the National Council of Therapeutic Recreation is preferred
- 2 Years experience in a similar role preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist in organizing, developing, and directing all therapeutic activities for groups or individuals to meet the needs of the residents.
- Assist the Director in planning, organizing, and implementing therapeutic activities.
- Prepare supplies, lists of participants and schedules for each activity.
- Escort residents to and from groups.
- Conduct group activities.
- Keep a daily record of types and number of activities in which each resident participated.
- Attend all scheduled educational offerings pertaining to Patient Activities and Resident Care.
- Assist with outings.
