About The Position

Lorien Encore is hiring an Activities Assistant to join their team. They are seeking a creative, energetic, and compassionate individual who enjoys working with seniors and creating engaging, meaningful daily experiences. This role is ideal for someone interested in activities coordination, recreational therapy support, senior living engagement, or healthcare activities programming. The position is located at Encore at Turf Valley, a beautiful country club campus with a stunning five-star facility, which has been an industry-leading healthcare campus since 2010. As part of Lorien Health Services, they use cutting-edge technology and forward-thinking practices to deliver the best possible outcomes for residents.

Requirements

• Full-Time and Part-Time Hours
• 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Every other weekend availability required (Saturday & Sunday)

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and leading group and individual activities
• Support recreational programs that promote social engagement and well-being
• Encourage resident participation in daily events and special activities
• Help create a positive, fun, and supportive community environment
• Work collaboratively with the activities and care team
