About The Position

Greenwood Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF) in Evanston, IL, has an Opening for an Activies Aide for our Consumers. This is a Part Time, Weekends Position, with 2nd Shift Hours. May be opportunities for shift coverage during the week. $18 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Activities experience, preferably in a mental health residential environment
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to speak, read and write English
• Comfortable driving 12 seat van
• Have valid Driver's License and a good driving record (we will run MVR check on Driver's License)
• Must have compassion and understanding of psychiatric population

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual a big plus

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily in house activities for consumers that are designed to enhance quality of life
• Assist with outings to shopping centers, movies, community events, etc.
• Follow all Activity Policies and Procedures and Federal and State regulations
• Maintain all related records, documents, and schedules
