Lorien Columbia is seeking a creative, energetic, and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our team! Requirements

Full Time Hours
Schedule: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Every-other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)
Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 25–50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accomodation.

Responsibilities

Lead and assist with daily activities in accordance with the community activity calendar.
Engage residents in games, crafts, discussion groups, exercise programs, themed events, and entertainment programs.
Encourage resident participation while fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
Assist with decorating and setting up for special events, holiday celebrations, and community programs.
Provide one-on-one interaction and support to residents who may be unable to participate in group activities.
Transport or escort residents to and from activities as needed.
Maintain activity supplies, equipment, and program areas.
Observe and report changes in resident participation, mood, or behavior to appropriate team members.
Support resident dignity, independence, and quality of life through meaningful engagement.
Follow all safety, infection control, and facility policies and procedures.
