About The Position
Renaissance Home Forks is hiring a full time activities aide. At Renaissance Senior Homes, we are truly resident-oriented and provide positive outcomes to our residents. We have created a culture that provides you the opportunity to utilize your skills as well as your valued input. An activities aide will assist with a variety of activities to meet the spiritual, physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs of the residents. The activities aide works with the administrator to create and maintain a well-balanced activities schedule for all residents.
Requirements
- A passion to help our senior population
- Previous experience in personal care or similar setting
- Ability to lead and encourage participation in activities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Creative and energetic with the ability to plan engaging recreational programs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Assist with a variety of activities to meet the spiritual, physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs of the residents.
- Create and maintain a well-balanced activities schedule for all residents in conjunction with the administrator.
