This position leads assigned team to provide safe, efficient and effective operation of the collection and transportation of waste and recycling materials using specialized equipment. Assists with supervisory functions providing direction and support for assigned team members. This is a temporary acting-in position for current Wasatch Front Waste & Recycling employees. Merit employees are eligible for an acting-in pay differential when they are temporarily assigned additional job duties for the following positions: Lead Equipment Operator, Supervisor, Manager. The assignment must last a minimum of 45 consecutive days and cannot exceed a maximum duration of 180 days.
