The MLADC or LADC Substance Abuse Specialist provides outpatient assessment, treatment, referral and consultation and education services for adolescents/families and adults with alcohol or other drug problems, as well as clients with dual issues of substance abuse and mental health problems. Requirements
- Masters Degree in substance abuse or related fields (psychology, counseling, social work, nursing, or related field from an accredited college or university.)
- Preference given to degree that is certifiable or licensable in New Hampshire.
- LADAC certified or eligible for certification.
- At least one year in a degree-related internship under the supervision of a psychiatrist, doctoral level psychologist, a certified/licensed mental health professional or person with equivalent credentials.
