About The Position
Tutor Doctor Chandler-Gilbert-Ahwatukee is seeking passionate educators and subject-matter experts to join their team as ACT/SAT Tutors. The company focuses on preparing students for future success and provides comprehensive support to its tutors, handling client acquisition, billing, and administrative tasks. Tutors can focus on teaching and building relationships with students, with opportunities for performance bonuses and professional autonomy. Requirements
- Experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring or working with students
- Strong knowledge in one or more academic subjects
- Current college enrollment or a completed college degree
- Experience as a teacher, education professional or subject-matter expert
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to adapt instruction to different learning styles
- Reliability, professionalism and consistent follow-through
- Reliable transportation for in-home assignments
- A genuine passion for education and student success

Responsibilities
- Help prepare today’s youth to become tomorrow’s successful adults.
- Thoughtfully match tutors and students based on subject expertise, teaching style, personality, student goals, learning needs, schedule, availability, and preferred travel area.
- Handle client acquisition, billing, family agreements, scheduling coordination, and administrative logistics.
- Provide ongoing support from a local team.
- Offer training, assessments, and instructional resources.
- Provide guidance when a student needs a different approach.
- Recognize and appreciate tutors.
- Offer opportunities to earn performance bonuses.
- Facilitate the ability to build meaningful, long-term relationships with students.
