About The Position

Ensemble Schools is seeking experienced acro teachers for Dance with Me School of Dance in Bel Air, MD. The role involves inspiring and nurturing children in acrobatics, focusing on quality instruction in a safe environment. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging, in-person lessons and contribute to the dance community. The studio emphasizes developing life skills alongside dance technique. This position is for Monday evenings, with a preference for instructors who can teach multiple styles in addition to acro. The season runs from September to June.

Requirements

Passionate tumbling/acro instructor who loves working with children.
Experienced acro teacher.
Ability to deliver engaging, in-person lessons.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Energetic, enthusiastic, and dedicated to the art of teaching acrobatics.
Dance experience not required but a big plus.

Nice To Haves

Can teach multiple styles on top of acro.
Acrobatic Arts Certification or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

Instructing students in acrobatics techniques across various skill levels (Ages 5-18).
Strong background in tumbling and acro required for this position.
Developing and implementing lesson plans tailored to individual and group needs.
Fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
Provide reliable transportation and pass a routine background check.
Exhibit traits of dependability, professionalism, enthusiasm, punctuality, and friendliness.
