About The Position

The Acquisitions Analyst III is responsible for conducting thorough research and analysis to identify potential acquisition targets and evaluate their financial performance and strategic fit. Works independently as a specialist on complex technical and business matters. Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc. serves as a holding company with multiple subsidiaries engaged in several lines of business (Business Services, Health, Infrastructure and Engineering, Mission Optimization, Technology and Transportation) for the federal government and commercial enterprises. Requirements

  • The ability to obtain, maintain and access classified information at the Secret level.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of job-related experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Department of War (DoW) contract specialist (1102 job series) within the previous 10 years
  • Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
  • Knowledge of contract closeout processes
  • Knowledge of Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) applications
  • Knowledge of the Electronic Data Access (EDA) module
  • Knowledge of data analytics
  • Technical skills such as Tableau, Advana/War Data Platform, MS Office, Navy Electronic Procurement System (ePS) (or similar contract writing system), Adobe Professional, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • DAWIA Level I or equivalent in contracting, program management, or finance preferred
  • NMCARS knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Analyze contract closeout metrics and canceling funds reports to identify areas to improve reporting and performance across the Command.
  • Manually close old contracts that are ready for closeout and assist with preparing contracts for closeout.
  • Train government staff on closeout processes and requirements.
  • Create and update standard and ad‐hoc reports to meet Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV), Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development and Acquisition (ASN(RDA)), Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Procurement) (DASN(P)), Congressional, and Office of the Secretary of War (OSW) data calls and reporting needs.
  • Provide administrative support (i.e., records management) for reporting and audits, including Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V), Navy Marine Corps Acquisition Regulation Supplement (NMCARS) Reporting, Internal Procurement Management Assessment Program (IPMAP) audits, and other ad hoc SSP local audits.
  • Maintain a master schedule of all reporting and audit deliverables (weekly/bi-weekly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual) and request, review, and consolidate accurate, verifiable inputs from SSP staff.
