About The Position
SAIC is seeking an experienced Acquisition Specialist to support the establishment of a large-scale infrastructure for Artificial Intelligence (AI) Research & Development (R&D). The program operates under an awarded IDIQ contract with multiple task orders and separate contract mechanisms for network connectivity, data management, and experimentation support. Requirements

Responsibilities
- Trusted Acquisition Advisor to Government and Program staff
- Support ongoing task order development, evaluation, and award for follow-on capabilities
- Monitor contractor performance against SOW/PWS requirements and aggressive delivery milestones
- Track deliverables against Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) including Project Management Plan and design reviews
- Support COTR and CLIN managers with technical evaluation of contractor submissions
- Coordinate across multiple contract mechanisms (IDIQ, network connectivity, data management, experimentation support)
- Support preparation of contract modification packages as program requirements mature
- Coordinate with financial teams on obligation tracking, expenditure monitoring, and accounting treatment across contract ceiling
- Prepare acquisition status briefs and risk assessments for leadership
- Maintain contract documentation and lessons learned
