The Acquisition Support Specialist supports federal acquisition planning, procurement coordination, contract documentation, and milestone tracking for complex purchasing requirements. Working under the direction of the Senior Acquisition Specialist, this role assists with preparing acquisition support materials, coordinating inputs from technical and procurement stakeholders, maintaining procurement schedules, and updating acquisition status in Oracle EBS Purchasing modules and other federal procurement tracking systems. This position is responsible for helping keep acquisition actions organized, documented, and moving toward key procurement milestones. The Acquisition Support Specialist supports market research, procurement package development, justification documentation, acquisition file maintenance, schedule tracking, and status reporting for specialized manufacturing, ERP, WMS, warehouse modernization, and operational improvement efforts. The role requires working knowledge of FAR/DFARS principles, federal procurement processes, acquisition documentation, and the systems used to track procurement actions from planning through award support.
