The ideal candidate is a highly self-motivated acquisition professional who can work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Candidates must have demonstrated, hands-on experience independently developing and authoring acquisition documentation required to support contract awards, including Statements of Work (SOWs), Market Research Reports, Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), Justification and Approval (J&A) packages for Other Than Full and Open Competition, acquisition planning documents, and other required procurement artifacts. The successful candidate must be able to independently develop requirements, conduct market research, prepare cost estimates, manage program budgets, and guide acquisition actions from planning through contract award. Candidates should have direct ownership of these responsibilities and be able to clearly articulate their personal contributions. Experience limited to "coordinating," "assisting with," or "participating in" acquisition activities, without direct responsibility for developing the required documentation, will not meet the requirements of this position.
