About The Position

ATSI support services are growing. We are currently seeking a dedicated professional with a proven track record of success to join our team. This full-time position supports a NAVAIR PMA. The Acquisition Specialist/Management Analyst, Journeyman will provide acquisition and program management support to ensure compliance with Department of Defense and Department of the Navy policies and life cycle management processes. The selected candidate will support the development of program milestone documentation, assist with acquisition reporting tools, and contribute to the preparation of key acquisition and contract documentation. The Acquisition Specialist/Management Analyst, Journeyman will work closely with Government leadership and program personnel to support acquisition planning, execution, and reporting activities across all phases of the program lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced acquisition environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college or university
  • 3 to 10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description, with at least one (1) year demonstrating experience supporting program milestone-related documentation and program acquisition reports

Nice To Haves

  • At least three (3) years of experience supporting NAVAIR program management, technical, or business analysis disciplines related to acquisition and life cycle management

Responsibilities

  • Supports and drafts program milestone-related documentation to ensure compliance with all aspects of DoD and SECNAV 5000 series directives.
  • Assists with program digital reporting tools, including Defense Acquisition Visibility Environment (DAVE), Qlik Sense Enterprise, RDA Information System (RDAIS), and the Procurement Management Tool (PMT).
  • Supports the development of program acquisition documentation such as Acquisition Plans (AP), Acquisition Strategies (AS), Acquisition Program Baselines (APBs), Procurement Initiation Documents (PIDs), Statements of Work (SOWs), funding documents, and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs).
  • Assesses program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements.
  • Attends, participates in, and supports meetings, conferences, and review boards, and contributes to the development and delivery of briefs, point papers, reports, and correspondence.
