ECS is seeking an Acquisition Management Support Specialist to work in Newport, OR. The successful candidate will perform duties similar to that of an Acquisition Management Specialist in the Federal Government. The scope of these duties include, but are not limited to: Plans and directs the procurement of goods and services. Ensures compliance with legal regulations (e.g., FAR) and organizational policies. Conducts market research. Manages vendor relationships. Oversees the procurement lifecycle from needs identification to contract closeout. Prepares solicitations and contracts. Collects documents required for contract packet and ensures they are in the contract system. Identifies outstanding purchase card requests and follows-up with vendor on invoices. Reviews purchase card requests for completed packets. Completes CD-435s, IT Checklists, and SOWs for services. Updates supervisor of procurement delays and resolution.
