About The Position

HX5 is currently seeking an Acquisition Logistician to join our team at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia, in support of the Mobility and Training Aircraft Program Office. This position supports the Mobility and Training Aircraft Program Office and will coordinate all logistics elements including but not limited to spares, Support Equipment (SE), training, facilities, technical data, and provisioning to ensure all integrated logistics support requirements for the program are identified and tailored to the directorate's needs. The role involves performing as key participants in developing long term weapon system supportability approaches that further the Government’s acquisition strategy goals and objectives. Additionally, the Acquisition Logistician will obtain needed logistics resources and participate in site surveys and program reviews, and perform analyses of sustainment or related Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) issues and recommend suitable replacements. The position also provides support to accomplish the generation and review of logistics support documentation that includes Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP), Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), Technical Orders (TOs), technical manuals, electronic technical manuals, illustrated parts breakdowns, and work specifications to ensure the documentation meets Government logistics support requirements. A key requirement is the ability to demonstrate an understanding of DoD acquisition processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, fifteen (15) years of relevant experience, and five (5) years of DoD experience.
  • Master’s degree, twelve (12) years of relevant experience, and three (3) years of DoD experience
  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
  • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance date.
  • Must be able to travel, including air travel.

Responsibilities
