About The Position

This role is critical to the credit union's ACH and Bill Pay functions. The team member will ensure timely processing of transactions, provide support and resolution to staff and members, and contribute to the credit union's quality initiatives through teamwork, innovation, and efficiency. A good understanding of industry knowledge, NACHA rules, and payment regulations for the Electronic Payments department is beneficial.

Requirements

  • Excellent PC skills required to include, but not limited to, MS Word and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities seamlessly

Nice To Haves

  • Similar work-related experience in a financial institution
  • Prior customer services experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Accurately process and support a variety of ACH Transactions, including ACH Origination, A2A and P2P, ACH Stops and Disputes, Member to Member transactions, and resolution of all member exceptions. Utilize administrative portals for research.
  • Process a variety of Bill Pay-related functions, including Bill Pay research.
  • Work directly with members, vendors, and third-parties for payment resolution.
  • Provide front-end member research support.
  • Complete system testing and validation for the host/core system and other relevant systems.
  • Complete required annual Compliance training and any other assigned training by deadline.
  • Attend industry seminars and webinars.
  • Train other team members or departments as needed.
  • Actively contribute to DCU’s Success Sharing initiatives.
  • Identify and assist in implementing ideas to improve efficiencies within the work area, department, and throughout DCU.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and respect during interactions with both members and colleagues.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of and adhere to DCU policies and procedures related to the position, as well as all applicable regulations.
  • Perform work functions with attention to detail, within established timeframes, and follow through as needed to complete tasks.
  • Meet or exceed performance goals, including service level achievement, timeliness of tasks, quality of work, service quality, and others as assigned.
  • Perform all other job-related duties as assigned by Manager(s).
