About The Position
This is a student position in the Manufacturing Engineering Machining Laboratory Tool Crib. The role involves checking tools in and out, maintaining inventory, and assisting faculty with various duties related to the Machining Laboratory. The assistant will also help students with machining processes and practice safe working habits.
Requirements
- Student must have previously taken manufacturing courses within the Manufacturing Engineering program
- Knowledge of feed and speed calculations
- Knowledge of safe working habits
- Knowledge of measuring instruments
- Knowledge of CNC programming
