About The Position

As a member of the 3PL Customs Team, you will be responsible for receiving, creating, and submitting documents to Government agencies for our cross-border drivers, as well as assisting our Mexico team with documents for In-Bond shipments crossing into the US. This will include communication between you, drivers, customers, other internal departments, and some government border agencies.

• Strong computer skills ( Outlook, Excel, TMW, Word, Government web sites)
• Business machines and systems.

• Willingness to learn Customs regulations for Canada, US. and Mexico
• Must be detailed oriented.

• Excellent problem analysis skills
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills

• Computer literate; proficient with Microsoft Windows, MS Office programs, and applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Internet Explorer.
• Solid work history and willingness to successfully function in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• College degree preferred and/or 1 year transportation & customer service experience.
• Bilingual (Spanish) speakers is a plus.
• TMW Knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists, Assistant Manager and Team Lead as needed to ensure an efficient operation.
• Execute duties as outlined in the Standard Work Instructions for the Department.
• Provides assistance with the daily operation of Customs needs to employees.
• Assists, Assistant Manager with projects as assigned.
• In rotation for Weekend on call
