About The Position

The Accuracy Control Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safety of all personnel within the Yard, including subcontractors, and that work is performed in accordance with company CORE values. This role involves ensuring adherence to all Hanwha Philly Shipyard safety procedures, rules, and regulations. The supervisor will instruct and direct Accuracy Control Technicians, participate in Build Method development, interpret 3-Dim evaluations, and direct Measurement operators with alignments. Additionally, the role includes scheduling the workload of Measurement operators and performing other related duties as required and assigned.

Requirements

• 2 years of college related studies and/or 10 years’ related experience in Measurement field or Quality Control
• Familiar with AVEVA system
• Have good print reading skills
• Knowledge of Theodolite, level and digital instruments
• Good shipbuilding background with good mathematical skills
• Ability to train operators with all measurement equipment
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
