About The Position

The American Bar Association (ABA) is a member-based organization committed to advancing the rule of law by providing resources for legal professionals, conducting law school accreditation, and developing model ethics codes. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university (or equivalent experience).
  • A four year college degree, or equivalent work experience is required (Equivalent experience would include at least 3 years working in an environment that requires high level customer service, writing and/or editing).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Software and Desktop Publishing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Implements and coordinates projects, including researching, organizing and preparing documents and materials for the Accreditation Project.
  • Drafts, reviews, and edits documents.
  • Regularly interacts with staff members; may communicate with internal and external partners to provide support for joint projects.
  • Provides input and analysis to support member leaders and management on strategies and procedures.
  • Consider and recommend changes as necessary to improve Accreditation Project processes.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
