About The Position

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage and apply customer payments from various sources such as Lockbox, mail, EFT, and credit cards with precision on a daily basis. The role involves preparing and distributing daily cash receipts reports, reconciling these receipts with bank entries, and addressing inquiries related to cash receipts.

Requirements

• Proficiency in full cycle accounts receivable.
• Experience with cash applications.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with ERP systems, specifically Dynamics, is preferred but open to other systems.
• Familiarity with aging reports and lockbox processes.

Responsibilities

• Apply a high volume of customer payments received via Lockbox, mail, EFT, and credit cards with accuracy daily.
• Prepare and distribute daily cash receipts reports to various offices.
• Reconcile daily cash receipts to bank entries.
• Research and resolve entries posted to Unapplied Cash.
• Respond promptly to cash receipt inquiries from various offices.
• Address email inquiries from customers and other departments in a timely manner.
• Ensure all cash receipts are balanced with Bank Ledger entries at month-end.
