We're committed to being a global aviation leader driving innovation, regional growth and prosperity by investing in our employees, customers, airlines, and partners The ACAA’s Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for the daily management of the accounts receivable function inclusive of coordinating all accounts receivable activities from initiating invoice billings through collection procedures and report generation. Here is how the Accounts Receivable Specialist will help: Prepare the invoice billing and cash receipt processes according to department policies and respective contractual terms. Responsible for the preparation and scheduling bank deposits and monitors the accuracy and validity of such. Verify and monitor contractual compliance on all tenant billings. Research and resolve accounts receivable issues, problems, and inquiries. Maintain and organize of all accounts receivable files inclusive of tenant files and cash receipt records. Responsible for the collection procedures for past due accounts inclusive of scheduling dunning notices and personal telephone contact. Monitor and approves the recordation of accounts receivable information into the computerized integrated financial computer system. Prepare required internal and external reports. Assist in the monthly accounting close calculating and preparing various accruals and journal entries. Receive and record utility readings to be used to invoice tenants for usage. Perform revenue analytics for management and audit. Perform activities and functions of related personnel and other related tasks as required. Perform variance analysis and other special projects as assigned. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university with a specialization in accounting
  • Five (5) years of accounting related experience.
  • Must be able to obtain FAA required security clearance.
  • Possess or obtain prior to employment a valid Pennsylvania Class C driver’s license.
  • Note: license must be maintained throughout employment.
  • Requires extensive knowledge of accounts receivable rules and regulations.
  • Detail oriented and organized.
  • Requires extensive knowledge of accounts receivable module of the integrated financial computer system.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to serve the public and fellow employees with honesty and integrity in full accord with the letter and spirit of the Authority’s Ethics Policy.
