We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to work in our Walker, Michigan facility.

Requirements

Associate's degree in accounting or related field, 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent experience and education is preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of accounts payable and general accounting procedures.
Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Accurate application of cash receivables.
Maintaining cash flow/daily banking reconciliation spreadsheets.
Assisting with invoicing using web portals and other means.
Distributing invoices according to customer-specific requirements, including invoices and billing through customer-specific websites.
Researching unapplied cash and resolving discrepancies.
Processing, transmitting, and running credit card transactions for customer sales and refunds.
