Under the direct supervision of the Collections Supervisor or Manager, the Accounts Receivable Representative II is responsible for effective and efficient accounts receivable management of assigned payers. This role involves collections efforts on outstanding accounts, including telephone contact with payers, working collection reports and correspondence, auditing accounts, appealing denied claims, updating accounts, identifying carrier-related denial trends, and meeting departmental productivity standards. The Accounts Receivable Representative 2 will also coordinate the transfer of patient responsibility and work accounts that require additional insurance collection follow-up.
