About The Position

The Accounts Receivable Collections Administrator manages customer balances, drives timely collections, and supports cash flow while maintaining strong customer relationships. This role partners across teams to resolve issues and improve overall account health.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or similar role
  • Solid understanding of AR processes and collections strategies
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Professional approach to handling sensitive or challenging conversations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to reduce past-due balances and ensure timely payments
  • Follow up with customers on outstanding invoices via phone and email
  • Review and act on credit holds, including order release decisions
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, and payment issues
  • Reconcile accounts, apply payments, and maintain accurate records
  • Partner with sales, customer service, and accounting to resolve account issues
  • Monitor aging, provide status updates, and escalate high-risk accounts
  • Support month-end close activities and assist with credit-related requests
  • Contribute to process improvements and ensure policy compliance
