About The Position

About the Role: Join TD SYNNEX as an Accounts Receivable Analyst and become an integral member of our fast-paced finance team. In this entry-level position, you will manage a diverse portfolio of small and medium business (SMB), managed service provider (MSP), Spark and Sony accounts. Your primary mission is to ensure accurate billing, resolve payment exceptions and maintain positive customer relationships. Along the way, you’ll gain hands-on experience with industry-leading systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and build a foundation for long-term career growth within our global organization. What You’ll Do: Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy, including complex reconciliations when needed. Review flagged orders for past-due accounts, determine whether to release or hold orders, and communicate with customers to resolve payment issues before releasing orders. Investigate and apply payments received without remittance instructions, clarify partial payments, and ensure accurate application. Manage dunning process — respond to automated overdue notices sent twice monthly, follow up with customers, and address inquiries to prevent repeat issues. Initiate customer communication via email, phone, or chat to address payment details based on aging and review code categories. Identify and resolve payment-related obstacles such as incorrect shipments, pricing errors, or missing documentation before they age. Collaborate internally with sales, customer service, and other teams to resolve account issues, especially related to cloud, licensing, and subscriptions. Access and organize data from existing Power BI or RDS reports; present account information in Excel for customer review. Notice potential concerns on accounts and promptly report them to management. Offer insight into operational matters and contribute to proactive problem-solving to prevent losses.

Requirements

  • 1+ years in accounts receivable, customer service, or a related field.
  • High school diploma required; degree in accounting or finance preferred but not mandatory for entry-level.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable engaging customers by phone, email and chat.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities to navigate non-standard or escalated issues.
  • Ability to handle high-volume workloads, prioritize tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Basic to intermediate Excel skills, including familiarity with pivot tables and data presentation.
  • Self-starter who works independently with minimal supervision and meets deadlines consistently.
  • Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn new systems and technologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Credit Certification (e.g. CBA) or specialized Credit Experience/Training is a plus.
