We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to join our growing finance team at arrivia . In this role, you will sit at the intersection of Accounts Payable and Treasury, owning both the accuracy of financial reporting and the health of our cash position. You will lead a team, drive process improvements, and serve as a critical partner to leadership on cash flow strategy and payment controls. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with demonstrated expertise in weekly cash forecasting, multi-entity or multi-bank environments, and controls over payments and cash movement.
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing accounting staff.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls best practices.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, advanced Excel, and ERP systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative, cross-functional approach.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a deadline-driven mindset.
  • Self-starter who thrives under pressure with shifting priorities and a natural affinity for working with data.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (desired).
  • Experience with Acumatica and/or OneStream (desired).
  • Background in both Accounts Payable and Treasury functions.

Responsibilities

  • Review AP and banking entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and support timely financial reporting.
  • Own the weekly cash flow forecast, including variance analysis, risk identification, and forward-looking scenario planning across multi-entity and multi-bank environments.
  • Monitor cash positioning, liquidity, and covenant compliance; oversee payment controls and approval frameworks.
  • Review accruals, reserves, and transaction activity to ensure revenue and expenses are recognized in the correct accounting period.
  • Supervise, train, and develop AP staff; promote cross-training and delegation to build a resilient, high-performing team.
  • Review and maintain standard operating procedures, accounting policies, and contract assessments to strengthen internal controls.
  • Lead special projects, support audit requests, and prepare ad hoc analyses to inform business decisions.
