About The Position

LionStone Healthcare is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor liaise with the Director in overseeing the accounts payable function the accounts payable function at our corporate headquarters. This role ensures accurate and timely processing of vendor payments, compliance with internal controls, and provides leadership to the AP team.

Requirements

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
3–5 years of accounts payable experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Paycom or similar).
Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.

Nice To Haves

Experience in multi-location or healthcare industry strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise and mentor the accounts payable team, ensuring high performance and accuracy.
Manage full-cycle accounts payable processes, including invoice approval, payment runs, and vendor management.
Develop and enforce AP policies and procedures to maintain compliance and efficiency.
Monitor and reconcile AP accounts; assist with month-end and year-end closing.
Handle escalated vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Prepare AP reports and metrics for management review.
Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to streamline processes.
Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
