About The Position

We’re seeking a dependable Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to support our accounting team with high -volume data entry and AP processing. This role is primarily in -office, with the flexibility to work from home occasionally when needed and approved.

This position is also open to Accounting students currently enrolled in college who are looking to gain hands -on, real -world accounting experience.

Workload will fluctuate throughout the year, so availability and flexibility are essential. Some weeks may be lighter, while peak periods may require additional hours.

Requirements

• Prior Accounts Payable, accounting, or bookkeeping experience
• Currently enrolled in a college Accounting, Finance, or related program
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Ability to learn and work within accounting or ERP systems
• Strong organizational and time -management skills
• Ability to work in -office as the primary work location
• Willingness to work from home occasionally when approved
• Must be available and flexible based on workload and seasonal needs

Nice To Haves

• Experience in high -volume AP environments
• Construction, service -based, or multi -entity accounting exposure
• Familiarity with accounting or ERP software

Responsibilities

• Enter and process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts
• Assist with weekly and monthly AP processing cycles
• Verify invoice coding, approvals, and accuracy
• Maintain accurate and organized AP records
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams as needed
• Support general accounting and administrative tasks
