About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a temp-to-hire position at our Tukwila plant. This role is responsible for verifying, inputting, and maintaining payments and records of invoices, purchase orders, travel expense reports, utility expenses, and accounts payable files. The position also supports other accounting tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Full-Cycle Accounts Payable Expertise
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel
• Knowledge of GAAP and Internal Controls
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
• Time Management and Prioritization
• Strong Communication and Collaboration

Nice To Haves

• College-level accounting coursework
• Experience with expense reporting software
• Familiarity with excise tax reporting
• Fixed asset capitalization and maintenance

Responsibilities

• Verify and input payments and records of invoices, purchase orders, and travel expense reports.
• Maintain utility expenses and accounts payable files.
• Support other accounting tasks as required.
