POSITION SUMMARY: Accounts Payable Specialist will ensure that all phases of the assigned accounts payable processes are completed accurately and within the time constraints of the monthly accounting closing schedule. This position involves all functions in the Business Office, with the main emphasis on Accounts Payable. This work is done in accordance with oral and written directions/instructions from the Senior Director of Finance. Directions for Living is an essential community mental health services provider. All Directions for Living employees must be willing and able to provide vital support and essential services to the people that we serve in the event of an emergency, pandemic or other disaster situation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or an equivalent and a combination of formal education and 3 years' prior experience, or graduation from an accredited two-year college and two years accounts payable experience preferred.
