About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing Finance team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely, accurate processing of vendor payments while maintaining strong internal controls and positive vendor relationships. Requirements

High School Diploma required
2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience preferred
Understanding of basic accounting principles and internal controls
Experience with 3-way PO matching strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Strong problem-solving skills
Customer-service mindset with the ability to communicate professionally with vendors and internal teams

Nice To Haves

Experience working in multiple ERP systems or with AP automation tools is a plus

Responsibilities

Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently across multiple entities
Review invoices for proper documentation, coding, and approvals prior to payment
Perform 3-way matching and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Investigate and resolve invoice and payment issues, identifying root causes when needed
Maintain vendor records, including verification of tax documentation and payment details
Reconcile vendor statements and assist with month-end close activities
Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries
Document procedures and contribute to process improvements and AP automation initiatives
Build and maintain professional relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders
Assist with other duties as assigned
