Are you looking for an Accounts Payable & Payroll Specialist position in an office setting? Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of payroll and/or accounts payable experience (healthcare environment preferred)
  • Experience working with third-party payroll vendors; iSolved experience a plus
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; Quickbooks experience preferred
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 200 employees using a third-party payroll provider
  • Review and validate timekeeping data for accuracy and completeness
  • Coordinate with HR on new hires, terminations, compensation changes, and benefits deductions
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with year-end payroll activities including W-2 reconciliation
  • Process vendor invoices accurately and timely
  • Obtain appropriate approvals and code invoices to the general ledger
  • Prepare and process check runs and electronic payments
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain organized and accurate AP files and documentation
  • Assist with 1099 preparation and reporting
  • Assist with monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Support month-end close processes
  • Maintain financial records in accordance with internal controls
  • Assist with audit requests and financial reporting as needed
  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned
