About The Position

Requirements

2-3 years of AP experience
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task with a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment
Great customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel
Extremely detail oriented and have excellent follow through skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office with intermediate Excel skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
Demonstrated reliability and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a hybrid (remote and in-office) team environment

Nice To Haves

Previous law firm or professional services experience
Knowledge of Emburse and Aderant software

Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day processing of payments and ensure completion in an effective, accurate and timely manner
Compile, verify and process Firm and client chargeable invoices and check requests
Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and related issues
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are updated and reconcile related transactions
Respond to and handle vendor inquiries, review vendor accounts, and resolve vendor issues timely and professionally
Schedule, print, and obtain signatures on paper checks on a bi-weekly basis
Record miscellaneous transactions into accounting software, including bank transfers and debits
Manipulate and format data for upload into accounting software
