Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an accounts payable or similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices and ensure all payments are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reconcile vendor statements and address any discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve any billing or payment inquiries.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures, including preparing reports and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding accounts payable.
- Support the finance team with various administrative tasks and projects as needed.
