About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate, timely processing of accounts payable transactions and supporting the overall financial operations of the company. This position is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, dependable, and looking for a role with long‑term growth potential. High‑performing team members will have opportunities to advance into expanded accounting or leadership responsibilities. This role is designed with growth in mind. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong experience in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software.
  • Organized with a strong attention to detail.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capable of handling multiple projects concurrently with good time management.
  • Ability to build and foster relationships with team members.
  • Ability to conducts self in an appropriate manner as a representative of SEC, working effectively in a diverse work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices with accuracy and in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate vendor records, including W‑9s, contact information, payment terms, and account balances
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and reporting.
  • Prepare and process payments.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information
  • Other duties as assigned.
