A significant portion of essential job functions below are required to be performed onsite.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Minimum one year of general office experience.
  • Ability to work in a high transaction volume environment.
  • Knowledge of accounts payable policies/procedures and best practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel.
  • Good math skills
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Detail oriented and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Strong sense of teamwork and work ethic

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred minimum of one year of accounts payable experience.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative assignments such as physically scanning, extracting documentation and workflow review.
  • Physically sort and distribute department’s incoming mail.
  • Research returned checks and utility bills for payment or nonpayment
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries in the department’s email inbox, voicemail
  • Support staff to ensure timely processing of payments through various software systems
  • Review payments and backup for accuracy
  • Research vendor inquiries about payments and invoices.
