We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented Accounts Payable professional who excels in systems, variance resolution, and process improvement. This is not a traditional invoice-entry role. This position focuses heavily on resolving cost and quantity discrepancies, and proactively following up with internal teams to ensure timely resolution while maintaining open communication with our vendors. This role supports a multi-division organization with over 180 branch locations, requiring strong coordination skills and the ability to work across multiple internal stakeholders.

Requirements

Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP and/or XLOOKUP required)
Experience with large ERP systems preferred
Strong analytical problem-solving ability
Working knowledge of inventory flows and 3-Way matching
Confident communicator able to follow up persistently and professionally
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and deliver in a high‑volume environment

Nice To Haves

Experience with 3-way match
Experience with EDI invoice processing
Experience resolving cost/quantity discrepancies

Responsibilities

High volume 3-way match (PO, receipt, invoice) for stock and direct orders
Manage daily EDI 810 invoice queues before billing cutoffs
Research and resolve cost and quantity variances
Proactively follow up with internal teams to drive timely variance resolution
Review inventory transaction history to research discrepancies and cost differences
Utilize Excel to reconcile aging and work weekly invoice lists
