Summary The AP Analyst oversees designated Accounts Payable processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies. Serving as the subject matter expert for their area, this role maintains clear documentation, timely execution, and consistent standards. The position requires strong attention to detail, effective cross-functional communication, and a proactive, self-directed approach to process improvement.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience is required
  • 1-2 years of experience in operations
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to work after regular business hours as needed to guarantee deliverables are met
  • Proficient in oral and written communication
  • Decision making, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to hit deadlines

  • Problem solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred bachelor’s degree majoring in Accounting, Computer Science, Finance, Information Science, Business Management, or similar field required.
  • Experience with BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) environments
  • Experience with SharePoint, and MS Teams
  • Experience within the HOA (Homeowners Association) industry
  • Experience with partner banking portals is desired

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for one (1) or more AP processes (e.g., workflow, payment processing, vendor management, onboarding).
  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reflect current practices.
  • Complete all tasks accurately and within Service Level Standards (SLS).
  • Monitor process performance
  • Recommend process enhancements to improve efficiency and outcomes.
  • Provide guidance and training; act as escalation point for assigned processes.
  • Ensure records and documentation are properly filed and audit ready.
  • Support testing and implementation of new AP tools and process changes.
  • Assist with daily operations, including maintenance and internal audits.
  • Serve as backup for other operational tasks as needed.
  • Resolve issues of low to moderate complexity.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
