About The Position

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of data entry accuracy
  • Ability to calculate, post, and reconcile financial records
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, payment regulations, and internal controls
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude with strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage confidential financial information with integrity and professionalism
  • Effective organizational, planning, and prioritization skills

Nice To Haves

  • 1–2 years of Accounts Payable experience is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Process and enter vendor invoices and accounts payable data accurately and efficiently
  • Code vendor invoices and maintain organized financial records
  • Review invoices and payment documents for accuracy and discrepancies
  • Investigate and resolve billing issues and payment discrepancies
  • Reconcile company payments with general ledgers
  • Update and maintain financial spreadsheets and reports
  • Support finance department administrative and filing duties
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of financial information
  • Follow company A/P policies and procedures while resolving payment-related concerns
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to maintain strong working relationships
