About The Position

SourceAmerica is searching for an Accounts and Pricing Representative to join their team in a cohort training program. This program is designed to train and mentor professionals to build a strong foundation in the AbilityOne Program, a federal program dedicated to expanding employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Through this immersive experience, participants will gain insight into how SourceAmerica supports federal government customers and its nonprofit agency network in delivering on contract requirements. Upon completion of the program, participants will transition into a role within the Products or Services account teams, contributing to account management or price proposal development. Placement will be aligned with individual strengths and business needs. The SourceAmerica nonprofit network includes approximately 500 NPAs providing products or services through the AbilityOne Program, supporting approximately 36,000 AbilityOne employees.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Account Management, Pricing, Products and/or Contracts.
5+ years of relevant experience in client relationship management, federal government procurement, federal contract administration, price proposal development, or manufacturing operations.
Demonstrates strong collaboration and teamwork across multi-functional groups to effectively resolve customer issues, drive process improvements, and consistently meet deliverables.
Maintains ownership of assigned projects, ensuring accountability and high-quality outcomes.
Experience with price analysis and developing price proposals.
Proficient in developing, reviewing, and validating pricing using Excel spreadsheets.
Proactively updates and manages critical information across multiple business systems to support operational efficiency and informed decision-making.
Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
This position requires travel based on business need.

Nice To Haves

Master's Degree in a relevant field of study from an accredited institution.
Knowledge of manufacturing operations and supply chain management to improve efficiency and workflows.
Understand costing/pricing of products and services and cost/price analysis principles and methods.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships.
Proficient user experience with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system SourceAmerica uses Microsoft Dynamics 365 as its business application system.
Capable of working independently and solving problems under time pressure.

Responsibilities

Maintain knowledge of the AbilityOne Program, and provide assistance in federal contracting, price development, and coordination of business operations and processes to ensure timely delivery of quality products/services.
Assist NPAs in maintaining program and statutory compliance.
Promote and strengthen the AbilityOne program by preserving existing contracts or developing product or service expansions that result in sustained increases in jobs and sales.
Maintain an awareness of NPAs’ capabilities to support the creation of new contract opportunities and matters related to the AbilityOne Program.
Provide consultation about NPA capability for additional products/services proposed for expansions or additions to the AbilityOne Procurement List.
Responsible for developing, analyzing, and coordinating the pricing data for Fair Market Pricing actions in support of all internal and external stakeholders for a variety of business lines, including Custodial, Food Service, Grounds Maintenance, Clothing and Textiles, Hardware and Equipment, Medical and office supplies, and others.
Monitor the market and Federal regulation changes that impact cost elements and ensure NPA proposals follow established pricing policies.
Review pricing projects using cost estimators, market data, and other pricing indicators.
