Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related financial role
• Proficiency in accounting software (Sage50 or Quickbooks)
• Strong knowledge of general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable
• Enters all incoming invoices for payment
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and statements
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations
• Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and reports
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company financial policies and procedures
