About The Position

The NCDAC Support Services Division of Engineering, Construction, and Maintenance (DECM) is seeking an energized and collaborative Accounting Technician II to join the Coastal Region Maintenance Team. This full‑time position is based at the Coastal Region Maintenance Yard in Greenville, NC, and also supports the Piedmont Region Maintenance Team with essential accounting and administrative functions.

Requirements

Associate degree in accounting from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of accounting experience; OR High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and three years of experience in accounting work; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Review and process expense vouchers, invoices, purchase orders, and financial documents.
Maintain accurate financial accounting data and reporting records.
Prepare and verify financial statements and related documentation.
Provide administrative support to regional maintenance teams.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned accounting tasks.
