Requirements

5–8+ years of public accounting experience with an emphasis on accounting, individual, business, partnership, and corporate tax
CPA license with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Taxation, or a related field
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed personal charge hour goals and promote efficiency and productivity within the team
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to creatively improve and follow processes
Technical proficiency in MS Office, tax and accounting software, and the ability to learn new applications

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong client relationships to gain a deep understanding of their business and objectives
Deliver creative client solutions to complex accounting, tax, and business issues
Apply accounting, advisory, and tax expertise to effectively support client and firm needs
Lead, plan, oversee, and execute client engagements to ensure outstanding service, within appropriate budgeting and job realizations
Connect clients with additional internal or external specialists as needed
Delegate tasks, set clear goals, provide necessary resources, remove obstacles, and manage schedules to ensure efficient, timely completion of projects
Mentor and coach team members, supporting their professional growth, development, and performance
Participate in firm growth initiatives and client account development to generate new client revenue and expand revenue from existing clients
